| Hey fei, have you sent a list into FT about who should and should not be in the player bank for this promotion next year? If not, we need to create one soon. |
Qualifications:
Do you have a red name like superstar Lynette Chan? Then you gotta be on the list.
Are you leading the poker world but not on the list? Then you gotta stay off the list.
Did you used to be on the list, but didn't make a noticeable showing in the last two years? Then you gotta stay off the list.
Are you a new player who would rather play cash games than tournaments? Then you gotta be on the list.
Have you made Full Tilt mad in the last nine months and are on the list? Then you gotta be off the list. |

| Looks like I won't get into ME freeroll. Theo and JC are both out. |

I normally root against the players who have "been there before", but it's hard not to like a guy who flew out 300 of his friends to last year's final table.
I'd love to see Sebok and Esfandiari at the FT also. Hard to root against Ivey too... great player, class act. |

I still have Soulier and I'd like to keep him as he will probably earn me at least the Full Tilt umbrella (worth a ton of hats for some reason) from the Hendon Mob game.
That said, come on S E E B S just enough for more television time if not the whole sheeeebang.
And Ivey needs to keep wearing the PokerRoad garb..... |

I've gotta say, I'm impressed that both Dennis Phillips and Peter Eastgate made final 90 this year. Really good showing from both. And it is hard not to root for the guy that flew 300 people out last November.
But, I'd still like to see Ivey take it; I like the guy, seems like a class act. Plus it benefits me, since he's on my A team and my only runner left; so he's my only shot at the freeroll. Even then I'm not sure it will be enough. I know about half the field has him as an A; but I did have 3 other cashes worth $215K in fantasy dollars. Plus, I was 791st after event 56, so I should be ok on a tiebreak. Heck he goes deep enough and I might even move up nicely in the overall.

Agreed. We may now have to start the debate of greatest WSOP feat if either of them makes another FT. I thought Raymer getting a 1st and 25th in back to back years, or Harrington winning a ME, and then making consecutive final tables in '03 and '04 is up there. Those may be coming down. |

Greatest ever...unless Eastgate wins it, I still probably go Johnny Chan 1987 to 1989.
I know the fields were a lot smaller, but this is when the WSOP Main Event was largely filled with big time players and there were less than 15 tourneys in the whole WSOP. In those 3 World Championships, Chan took 1st of 152; then 1st of 167; then 2nd of 178. That's pretty damn impressive.
I'd still put both Raymer and Harrington in consideration. And I'd give some props to David Singer taking 6th in the first 2 $50K Horse Events in 2006 and 2007.

Katchalov (B) has to take it down for me ... or at least FT
The only chance left to get in the FR
Although I like Ivey, fantasy-wise he has to bust ASAP... but he's probably just too good at deep-stacked play, so I expect him to be part of Nov 9 II, if he doesn't get a brutal beat. |

48 remain and these are the last fantasy men standing... ok, that didn't come out right, but you know what I mean.
