No reads here. I sat in as the 2nd player and played a few hands HU with a short stacker. The rest of the table just filled in within the last few hands.

Almost every hand so far has been limped most of the way around, so I was happy to see a cheap flop. Please evaluate my play OTF, and suggest how to play the Turn.

It's been ages since I played any PLO8, but I possibly raise the flop. I think calling is OK, but I just tend to never slowplay in multi-way omaha pots - keeping the low-draws in can be risky, because what started as a low draw can turn into a made high if the cards come right. Also, the board being 2 hearts makes me lean slightly more towards a raise than if it were rainbow. But I see the flop decision as being quite marginal.

OTT - I think pot it. Build the pot to punish the lows who could be quartering and also while the flush draws are live on an unpaired board.

PS: I fold pre.

I flat flop, jam turn. You're usually nut nut here and have plenty of equity when called. I don't like raising this flop yet multiway. Turn is bingo.

OK I'm gonna say ignore my comment RE the flop because Zoph knows his business.

I don't like it quite yet because it's so draw heavy still(straight & FD's) with nut lows already out there. He likely has the best hand now, but is easily counterfeitable and unless he can get all the money in right then, bloating the pot OTF only makes the turn that much hard to play as there are really only a couple of clean cards.
That ace is one of the best cards he can peel.

Agreed-

Building the pot OTF is dangerous becuase too many cards can hit that will cause you to have to fold.

On the turn, however, you likely have a scoop.

I flat flop. There is too many bad cards to come on the turn, so no reason to bloat the pot. Turn is almost a perfect card for you, I raise to probably $10-$12 OTT to try to cut some of the action out w/ two flush draws and straight draws out there.
