|
|
Here I am again, with what may seem a very stupid question :
Does anyone knows how the very fist blinds are attributed ?
In other words, how does the system picks the people who have to post the blinds as first ?
IRL , cards would be dealt, and the person with the highest card (Ace being the lowest) has to post the SB as first. (Well that's how we do it)
Thanks in advance! |

Don't stress to much about it. The first blinds are so small they don't matter much.
Unless I get a premium hand I am more than happy to sit out for a few rotations and loose a few small blinds to see what the table is like. |

| I actually sat out for 47 hands the other day. Never a need to sweat being in the blinds at start or not, as it really don't matter. |

| It shouldnt matter at all, except if you are playing those super turbos where one orbit of blinds eats up about 35% of your stack. Don't see how it matters much there either, since its just a shovefest anyway. |

That's not how my local casino does it. Each player is dealt a card. The Ace of spades being the highest card and the duece of clubs being the lowest. Whoever draws the highest card gets the button.
I don't know how this site does it. I do know the starting dealer position is completely randomnized. I have played enough tournaments to know that there is not a favored position to start the deal from. |
