Yeah, I agree. When I was looking at this hand to post, I really didn't have any explanation as to why I played it.
As played, what do you do OTF? |

If as you say the guy is playing very few hands, then you gotta assume that hes in there with at the minimum A2 plus some working cards, so it looks like your playing for half, problem is he might have something that fits everything, or A2 and a set/2 pair, either way your giving him a freeroll to improve his nut low, and as you've invested so little, its time to let the timer run down a little and fold:p

| It's a reverse implied odds spot. You are most likely being freerolled. The misclick pre is easy to get away from. |

I disagree with this. If he is as tight as you say then he would be raising with A2. Your bet on the flop should have been larger. You also have some redraws, albet long ones. I would repot this. |

Are you saying that this tight villian is going to have a bare A2 here a lot? I think A2 is almost always in his range, along with a fair (or better) chance at the high.
What redraws are you saying I have....r/r flush?
The way I see it, I'm going to be playing for stacks while hoping that my straight holds up for 1/2 pot. I'm never scooping, and sometimes chopping. I think it's a great spot to get away for $0.75, and find some better spots with my stack. |

I think Bubba is trying to be deliberately controversial, in 1 post he says if you dont have the nuts both ways you should fold and then in this post he suggests reraising with some long shot redraws. Its ok to disagree bubba, but your view must have some credence.
The guys that post here are experienced Hi Lo players, and they can spot someone who is just trolling a mile off. If your here to learn about Hi Lo then stick around, but if your trying to turn this forum into a flame fest, then i'd say you've come to the wrong board

Sorry I haven't been back till now. I'm mostly at another forum but they don't have too much on Omaha. I play mostly NLO/8. And no I'm not trolling. First off I would have folded this PF. Since it is played this is what I would have done.
"Are you saying that this tight villain is going to have a bare A2 here a lot? I think A2 is almost always in his range, along with a fair (or better) chance at the high. " If this is the case then wouldn't you say a raise would have been in line here PF for him? He is just calling on the button here. That signals to me that he doesn't have that strong of a hand. So yes I would call or reraise here.
And the longshot redraw is the RR.
By the way, is there anyway to see which threads you have replied too? I ran through a few before I fond the ones I answered.
Oh and I'm a babe not a guy. |

| I'm happy with my fold OTF. I may have 1/2 the pot at this time....maybe, but I may have to put in the majority of my stack to find out. I'd rather get away from this for $0.50 |

Second best straight in hi/low is a pretty bad hand. Being that the Gillian is so tight on a lower limit table I would def put them on a strong hand. Raising you is an obvious sign they have. Good hand and are trying to increase the pot for the win. If they are a good player, and has only the ace-2 low, I do t see them raising it up as much and possible pushing yu out on whatever hand you have for the what $1 pot? I'd say they have a low and a set or low and straight or a hand like AA78 double suited?
I'd reluctantly call their raise hoping not too much more would get bet ff while no pair hit the board or 2 same suits besides diamonds. |
