you have no proof that he didn't have 999 to start. It's not likely with the way he played it, but he could have easily been ahead the whole time knowing he had you crushed, so letting you bet. didn't want to scare you away.

I was thinking the same thing when i saw this he could have been rolled up and when he saw every one calling one bet he could have thought it was better to get evey one to call one bet all the way down then to rasie and posibly lose every one.

I don't think he was rolled. Even so, that's pretty standard. I've taken much worse beats.

I played the 10+1 studament today, i barely had a player covered and I had a flush... on 6th street and 7th he completes the straight flush for the win.
