Hello fellow formers,

I can not help but notice that we are getting an influx of new forum members these days, which is always good for the forum. Welcome all new comers, I hope you find this forum as helpful as I did.

While browsing the web for some Poker Strategies and an ICM (Independent Chip Model) I have come across some very good finds. I think many beginning players who are interested in SNG's will find that these links will be very useful in there poker future. The first thing is a PDF file, but I am told the link may be broken. So I am going to post the Google link, in which the PDF file is the first item on the list.

Second, as some of you may now I do not like spending a lot of money. I found this second item last night, trying to locate a free ICM calculator that would have ranges and would work on a MAC. At first I found some that worked but it was only a free trail that could run under Darwine, and though I would totally recommend trying those out and possible purchasing them, I wanted something that was totally free. I then came across this website which has a free ICM calculator among other useful apps. It may not be as good as the paid for versions, but hey it's free. I hoped that this thread will help beginners to intermediate SNG players a like.

Remember guys, poker is fun. Lets not get to worked up over the bad beats. We can always Improve and strive to be one step better today then we were yesterday, good luck.

UPDATE

Hey guys, you are all my friends and it said to share this app with my friends. So here you go, enjoy.

Hey everyone, Bryce from Stoxpoker here. After a year of dallying around with the beta Stox Combo is finally available for public release! This is a combination-counting software which tells you how likely your opponent is to hold one hand type. For example, if you thought your opponent's range was AA-QQ and AK and saw a flop of A53 your opponent will hold AA or AK 56% of the time and is four times more likely to hold AK than AA. You can search for hand types by creating groups such as "top pair and a flush draw" or by manually highlighting hands.

A tutorial on how to use the program is available here: http://www.stoxpoker.com/Bryce/StoxComboTutorial.wmv

The program can be downloaded here, and can also be found in Stox Shop: http://www.stoxpoker.com/Bryce/StoxCombo.zip

Ultimately we decided to make the program freeware. If you have any questions or experience any issues please let us know in the ongoing thread in our software forum. This is a great piece of software that fills a very important niche in poker analysis, so be sure to let your friends know about it!

There's the direct link to the PDF file which has boatloads of links that would be useful to SnG players.

You should add Jukofyork's luck analyzer program there too.

@devilz91 I have been looking for the luck analyzer and it looks good. However I couldn't find the link to download it. If you or anyone ever finds it, please feel free to post it here.

The link to Poker Nerd's SNG Strategy doesn't seem to work Sad Anyone know where I might find it?
