I heard that Andy Beal was playing Phil Ivey in Las Vegas. Beal won the sencond match in early Feb against the Corp in early Feb. This time around Phil won and get these totals in limit holdem
1st day 2 mill at 30,000/60,000
2nd day 4 mill same
3rd day 10 mill at 50,000/100,000
Ok I have read the book and I loved it. What I am reading online is that Howard Lederer won 9.3 off him. Ok why do I feel that he knows something about Beal and he is part of this backing this time around.
Just a thought

| if you want more details into the recent matches with andy beal, i recommend picking up a copy of the april edition of BLUFF magazine from your local bookstore... michael craig, the author of The Professor, The Banker, and The Suicide King, is writing a huge article (i heard somewhere that it's 10,000 words) on these matches... i know it'll be good because michael was literally sitting down at tables where hundreds of thousands of dollars were literally being exchanged every hand... |

Let's make sure we're straight on all this, guys. First, BLUFF did something very cool, which was to pay me a bunch of money to write for them. "Mingling" is something I'm doing for free, and gladly. I know you're joking by calling yourself "commoners" but the reason I like contributing to these forums is the lack of distance between our perspectives. When I see Andy Beal and Ted Forrest shooting dice, I look at it the same way you do. When I see Andy stuck $7 million then win it back, I think about it the same way you do. When Mike Matusow tells me of his latest six-figure online win or loss, I think I react the way you would react.
I find this stuff fascinating and I think you do, too, probably for the same reasons. I love the opportunity to share it with like-minded friends.

| I would expect Ivey to have won all of them for how good people say he is. |
