Just one week after a historic election the Poker Players Alliance is pitted in a fight to keep anti-Internet poker regulations from being enacted and we NEED YOUR HELP!
The current Administration is hastily finalizing a number of “midnight rules” before they leave office and the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) is on the list. See the 11/06 story in Dow Jones. Just like UIGEA was snuck into legislation in the dark of night in 2006, our opponents are again trying an 11th hour sneak job. We need you to help us expose and stop this reckless rulemaking.
Please call the U.S. Federal Reserve and tell them not to approve the UIGEA regulations -- Consumer Complaints, 888-851-1920 or Public Affairs, 202-452-2955.
Tell them:
The federal agencies responsible for our nation’s economy should not be focused on Internet poker regulations.
Finalization of the UIGEA rules will add additional burdens on our already crippled financial systems.
Internet poker is a game of skill and form of recreation for millions of Americans; it should be exempted from the UIGEA.
Please do not finalize the UIGEA regulations until their impact on our banking systems and average Americans has been fully studied.
Your call will make a huge difference and will add the public’s voice to these last minute policy decisions our government is poised to make. We can’t stand idly by while they make decisions that will impact our right to play America’s card game. PLEASE CALL TODAY!
I know this does not belong here, but the more people know how urgent it is, the more likely they will act. |

let it pass, get these crap sites like ftp out of the business. Lets get some real regulation going and none of this indian reservation crap. You cant trust the indians, just look at them not doing anything until players started digging into the whole cheating mess.
And you trust these sites......
FTP-Indians....joke of a site no support and unfair
Foxwoods casino-Indians....joke of a casino, no customer support/satisfaction and dealers who dont know the game they are dealing.
STay away from the indian business's. They dont care about you, they want repriations for past transgressions on them. They want their own govt, land and your money without paying taxes etc etc. Not my fault they couldnt defend themselves when the european fools came over. So now they rob us for payback from over 200 years ago. |

actually no im not but I dont trust an entity just because they issue a license, what good is a piece of paper if its not enforceable. UB/AP cheated, they were licensed by kawanakee. That is two sites that this place gave a license to that cheated....I dont think that it was a rare occassion. And what did they do about it....nada until players started making noise.
So that is one example, foxwoods, you have to visit to understand. But go ask Danny Negranue about foxwoods. That is three examples of indians running a gaming commission or place of business. Pretty bad percentage to me and foxwoods is the largest casino (floor space or whatnot).
I can go on and on about the lack of security with kawanakee, ftp and such but then that will hurt other business's. |

Ash has a point and I don't think it's racist. The level of service offered by the Commission's licensees is very low and the fees tend to be very high. What, exactly, is so great about the current Internet poker providers?
I believe the solution is to go legal and that the tide will sway that way. The legislation only attacks the shady licensees of the KGC. And they're not really better than most bookies. |

You're right. I've been waiting a month since FT approved my withdrawal and still don't have my cash. Most bookies are BETTER than that. |

that is what the lady said anyway. so we can all stop **** and just bend over.... OR get on the fones and internet to ALL of yer congressional reps. and do it now and do it repeatedly. as I understand the system, a congressman or senator counts each letter as 10,000 voters due to the apathetic way of our lifestyles
