Last week we had our largest field ever (albeit a somewhat small 20 people). It is encouraging seeing new faces join the tournament. Please remember that this tournament is open to everyone! I apologize for taking so long getting this up. Holidays have been busy and next week will be busy for me as well. Hopefully I'll be able to participate, but I will be travelling. The tournament will go on, nonetheless. Someone will be there to play host, guaranteed.

The tournament will be a $10 NL Hold'Em DS tournament, taking place on Tuesday, November 28 at 10:00 pm ET (7:00 pm PT). The winner will receive a complimentary PokerBling.com poker bracelet (along with regular cash payouts, of course).

I checked in to the payout structure and it turns out we need 28-36 for top 4 places to be paid, 37-45 for top 5.

The tourney can be found in the private section of the tournaments tab under the number #8960905

Tourney details:

Date: Nov. 28th at 10pm ET

Buy-in: $10+$1

Room #: #8960905
Password: pokerbling

Free poker bracelet awarded to winner! Just stick around and keep observer chat on if you make it to the final table and I'll be sure to collect info from the winner. Alternatively, you can IM me on my AIM sn: Daveeyboy or email me through the www.pokerbling.com Web site.

There are more details about the tournament and other great things (like Player of the Year Standings) at PokerBling's tournament homepage at www.pokerbling.com/tournaments.htm

Congratulations to last tournament's winner, Mark Kowalski. He made a huge comeback against PoY leader Alex Keating in heads up play to take home the crown. Hopefully he'll be back again this week so we can try and knock him down a peg.

Everyone's favorite player, Keating, remains at the top of the Player of the Year standings with another strong showing last week, making it to his fourth consecutive final table and playing an epic heads up battle for the bracelet. He's not out or reach though, folks. Remember, the more players that play in the tournament, the more points awarded to the final table finishers!

Hope to you see you all there. Tell your friends!

I'm sorry, but I don't have a new flyer for this week's tournament. I'm on the road and don't have photoshop on my laptop yet.

Since I don't have a flyer, here are the bracelets you can win. I am actually going to get new photos soon...so keep an eye out for those.

Just a quick reminder that the tourny is tomorrow. I see a few regulars have already signed up. Let's try to get this one loaded so there are more points to be had! I'm never going to catch up and take down Player of the Year without a bigger field! (Points directly proportional to the size of the field).

I'm gonna play in a couple 45-sngs tonight, If I win about 10 bucks in them, I'll play tomorow. Hopefully....Smile

I think the tournaments should be lowered to 5 dollars, maybe. Even just once to see how much bigger of a field you get. I agree the $10 buy in gets a better game, but $5 would ge more people.
