i'm playing in that sit n go right now and i have never played in a stud sit n go... i really don't konw how to bet. i can read my players really well but i just odn't know how to extract the most money. i played a pot with 5s rolled up and my opponent had a king showing after a few streets i knew he had two pair and i had him beat. for some reason though i checked when he checked and i didn't even bet on the river when i knew he was beat... i guess i was just scared a little bit... i need to learn how to bet

i just love alan boston telling everybody his hands this is hilarious. this would be a great time to have chat and ask him questions... he is giving great advice

actually i don't really know what i'm doing but a bunch of these players are awful! i mean really really bad. that is saying something from somebody who says that they play bad themselves

okay seriously nobody raised my bring in.... not even the last person to act with an ace up... you never let the bring in just take the pot

a couple of the guys didn't even know how to play stud. they were trying to learn, and who better to learn from than Alan Boston himself. and i definitely hope the awful players you were refering to, i wasn't one of them! if you didn't stick around, i ended up winning the thing, but AB gave great info the entire time. Alan Boston is a class act, and easily my favorite pro on the site.

hey by i tried posting a bunch of stuff to you last night but i guess the site wasn't working for some reason. uh... when you asked if i had aces up i didn't i had an ace showing and that was it. i knew you fold cuz alan was telling you to. i had fives folled up once and buried kings once. that was pretty much all i got that whole game. i think i did a good job of representing hands. especially preflop. alan really helped because he basically told everybody what i was "supposed" to have. alan was great though! ALAN BOSTON IS AWESOME! he was such a help. that is how all the pros should act on this site! i have talked to alan a couple of times and he is always the nicest and coolest guy to talk to. i would love be his friend in real life because he is such a smart and nice man... and by i wasn't talking about you playing bad... the main player i was talking about was farmertim... that guy is a sucker. i had two pair showing. i had tens and nines up i htink.... i actually had nines full of kings and it was pretty obvious that i had a boat and the dude played his hand to the river were he hit quad sixes. mikejohnson724 was a pretty big sucker today which i can understand because he was the one asking alan boston to play in the sit n go and give pointers. then farmertim busted me when i was all in with the best hand and the nut spade draw... i had one of his aces and queens by 5th. we both had no pair but i had ace king high with my spade draw and he had ace queen high. on 6th though he hit a pair and i didn't improve... (we were all in on 3rd) thanks alan again and farmertim you are a sucker

There is no flop in stud, therefore there is no preflop.

I like playing with Alan Boston, too. He will just flat out tell me what I am doing wrong and then try to help me tweak my game to get better at it. I have never played with a Full Tilt pro before who really seems to enjoy interacting with the people they play with. I will play with him anytime.
