yeah, that was horrible... no sense whatsoever in betting the minimum unless you are doing so as a "value" bet expecting him to call and not be able to outdraw you...

either CHECK to induce the bet, get AGGRESSIVE like you should... or even find a number larger than the minimum that adds more value and gets him MORE COMMITTED to help force a call on the turn

if he folds to you in that situation on the flop, so what? You're pretty well assured to win the whole thing at that point... instead you let him suckout and just about double up and then win it all on the next hand
