Ok, I have ADD...
I also have taken anger management courses.
My question is, how do you maintain concentration at the table and deal with the time in LONG MTTs and SNGs.
Online I play 2 cash SNGs and 2 PLAY Money SNGs at a time, just so I am constantly doing something and dont feel like I ahve as long as a dry run of cards. Granted it happens on every table but 4 at a time it doesnt seem to last long with out playing a hand.
Ring Games are different, Just four at whatever level I want to play that day Some profits, some loss (because of boredom/attention loss).
Anyone find any useful remidies other than spreading too much bankroll just to stay involved?
Music selection? (apparently our local B&M allows smokers but chastises iPods)... |

| I surf the web when I play... it keeps me occupied, but I believe it's my biggest downfall... |

| I have a laptop so I will do laundry or other household chores while I play. I do much better in the tourneys this way. It takes the temptation to play mediacore hands away. |

i totally agree with this. two days ago i played in the .com freeroll and i sat out for the entire first hour. i logged in after the first break and i had about 1000 left in chips and ended up placing around 72nd. |

I do a lot of web surfing and reading of email. I know this hurts my play 'cause I often don't have any sense of whether someone I am in a pot with is normally tight or loose, aggressive or passive.
FWIW I am doing less surfing these days which is helping improve my game. At some point I'll get to high enough stakes that I'll have to give up surfing altogether. |
