I know my hand is crap but compare my board to his board. By six street he is still drawing to a 9 low and my board looks like either a made 9 or drawing to an 8 low. Did I play this hand ok or am I just spewing chips?

The river call was for info, I was willing to pay to see what he had rolled up and see if he actually knew how to play razz or was completely clueless.

Also, at any point would you be folding villains hand without knowing my downcards? IE comparing his whole hand vs my up cards.

I don't like his call on 6th street, with a pair of 9's and a King showing. However, the only reason he may call is if he hits, he has 9-7 low, and might presume you would end up with a 9-8 low. Not saying he played it right or wrong. I think it's a call that isn't horrible or great. You did all you could to represent a big hand, but got a bit unlucky, with both the cards and the player. I don't see anything wrong with your play.
