Online Poker Forum - I can log into the client, but not the Forum

From time to time I get e-mails from people who are able to log into the client, but are unable to log into forums (using the same password).

I have advised to reset the password in the client, and then try to the new password for the forum. I have also advised to clear the cookies in their browser. Anyone have the same problem? I am hoping to move this thread to the General Questions section.

I had this same issue and thought I cleared my cookies however, there is a little check box toward the top of the 'Delete Browsing History' box. It says, 'Preserve Favorites Website Data'. Mine was checked by default. If you uncheck that and clear them you should be good to go.

I just tried it myself and it worked.

1. Log into client and select "Change Password" in the Account section (top left corner).

2. Change password from "xxxxx" to "yyyyy" (any 5 characters).

3. Log out of Full Tilt/Close the program.

4. Log back into Client/Start the program using your New Password

5. Once you are logged into the client, then go to the Forums: http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.com

6. Log in using your "New Password."

This just worked for me, so hopefully it works for everyone else.
