I believe another appearant hole in my game is how I play the nut low. This isn't the greatest example, because this is a hand to dream about in in Omaha/8, but I seem to consistantly bet getting my nut lows counterfitted on the river. My general idea on how to play them is to suck as many people into the pot as possible by making small 1/2 to 1/3 of the pot sized bets. Is this a decent way to play it, or should I only be betting the nut low with redraws to the nut low (example: I hold A-2-4-7 and the flop is 3-8-J), and check it when I don't have redraws.

Yeah, that early in the hand, realistically looking only at a low, I wouldn't throw that much in there without an A23. Too often you will be counterfeited.

well, despite that, he did get his money in with the best low hand, and he just was counterfeited on the river by a three-outer. i'm not saying that his aggressive play here will be correct in the long run, but he did have a pretty good lock on his low hand (about 15% to get counterfeited) before the river.

He did have a strong chance to win the low in that situation, but also could easily be in a quarter pot also. Any other A2 will split. That early, I want options.
