| I love shootout tournaments. First, as a player in them, one doesn't have to worry about payout structure or what have you, he can simply play to win. He knows everyone else will be playing to win too, and no one will be playing to survive. He gets to play with differing numbers of players at the table, so ability to play in a wide variety of settings is rewarded. |
