does it bother anyone else that people do not know how to fold a piece of junk hand? I get tired of seeing someone with 2/7offsuit hold onto flops of A/2/10 and suck out on the river with another 2 for a set. These people will call as many raises as it takes to get to the flop and see what they can get. It is frustrating and if it frustrates you, let me know. |

| Folding is a lost art of the game. Bad beats are part of the game. I'd like to thank those who continue playing weak hands for their chips. |

Is this thread serious. It wouldn't be profitable without these kinds of players, I happen to love them. |

| Depends, i hate bad players who call with them but players like myself who tend to just play loosely and can outplay people after the flop (Even me sometimes!) |

| I love players who play weak starting hands, hoping to bust a premium hand. Last night, I raised with A3 hearts from button $25 2 people called the flop was A 3 4. I bet out $35 the guy to my left called, who I know is a tight player and probably has AK but he never raises. The next guy who called the initial bet Raises to $70. A guy I have never played before and who has called some big pre-flop bets with junk all evening. I immediately put him on 2-5os, however I could not lay down my hand and ended up losing my whole stack to this guy. The other called did indeed have AK and the loose player won a $2300 pot because he played a bad hand. I was not mad at the loose (STUPID) player but was very upset with myself for putting him on the straight and still not laying my hand down. I guess what I am trying to save is that you will always play with people that have no clue how to play poker, they survive on luck. YOU on the other hand being a good poker player, should know WHEN TO LAY A HAND DOWN. You would not be a good player if you couldn't. |

I think the ability to lay down a good hand is one of the greatest skills in poker. |

| I'm not always able to fold a strong hand when I am behind. I am not always able to call with a weak hand if it is the best hand. However, I do try to fold the best hand about as often as I call with the worst hand. Anytime you are doing more of one than the other, you are costing yourself money. |

| What gets me is those people who call any raise with a 25 offsuit, then they have the nerve to raise later on in the game and the disbelief on their face when the whole table calls their raise and sucks out on them. I have seen some people learn their lesson. |

| Yes, it can be frustrating. Yes, I love to play against 'em; I more often than not end my session with a profit when they are at my table, especially B&M (when the no-fold-em types put a few others on tilt after a suckout as well). |

Why would you *ever* want an ATM to learn its lesson? That cuts off the cashflow. |

| Raise the blinds, It will certainly work out in your favor no matter what if you have a good hand. And if they get in your head, they might not be as dumb as you think they are |

| People tend to play more conservative in live cash games rather than online. Even some of you players that think your good never lay down the flush draw. I love it when they could have $1 commited to the pot and no matter what, they stay until the river. They will risk their whole stack to try and catch another card to make the flush. Keep playing your suited J3's and K5's suckas |

My experience is the exact opposite of this. Maybe the UK's live players is full of gambers...
I play junk hands on occasion in NL. NL is mostly about post-flop play. There are excellent implied odds when you junk hand hits to beat someone's AA / AK. |
