I've been working on my SNG and MTT game at the lower limits with solid results. I've also spent a lot of time thinking of a good BAP idea that would be low varience for investors with a shot at a big cash. Here goes:
Two phase BAP:
I plan to play 100 $1.80+.20 9-man SNG super sat. to the Double Deuce. These games are incredibly soft and pay $5.50 to the top 3. I have a ROI over 40% in the 80 or so I've played in the past month or so and am looking to get my volume up in these.
Once I have completed the 100, I will send stakeback to all investors and use the remaining T Dollars in Micro/Low stakes MTT up to $10+$1. Which ones I choose will depend on what investors want to do and how I do in the first part as I'd like to be able to get at least 5 in to give us a good shot at a cash.
Splits for MTT will be 90/10 in favor of the investor.
I will start with a BR of $100 (50 Buyins) and sell 20 shares at $5 a piece. I will purchase 3 of the shares for myself and 1 for someone that would be willing to help out making a nice spreadsheet. Thank you for your consideration!

Nice and simple, I like it. Does that formula at the bottom for that "Part 2 $" take into account the 5% we lose because of the T dollar conversion?
Thanks a ton! If you insist on not taking a free share, your choice but the offer is there until sell out |

| You say you're going to play 100, but you're starting rolled for 50. Plan on rerolling your winnings to hit 100 total? |

Yeah, the winnings are all going to be in a rolled in throughout the 100. Then at the end the initial $100 will go back to investors and the profit will be used for MTT buyins.
I think 50 buyins should more than make up for the varience. The BAP should be stopped long before I can lose 50 in a row |

I'll fix the spreadsheet for the 5% loss; i totally forgot about that.
I'll also think about the free share, it's not a bad idea after all |

I'd be willing to buy this out if you came up with strict mtt guidelines to spend the $T on, and set a limit to when you would drop back down to the sattys-
Will check back with you after work tomorrow- HOLLA BACK

The original plan was to get something like 1.5-2x SB after the sat. round. Assuming I cash in 50 of 100 (reasonable), that would leave $75 after 1xSB for tournaments. I'd look to do 10+ $5.50 buyins or lower.
I wasn't looking at doing the sats. beyond the 100 but I could up it to 200 in the beginning and offer the 1.5x-2x SB so everyone gets a profit before I venture into the MTT portion.
I'm definitely open to suggestions. This seemed like the best way to offer a BAP with a high chance for a profit and a shot at a big cash as well but if you have any ideas, I'm willing to consider |

I'm in for 4 shares before Tracy gets greedy. Let's plan out this second phase a little though. Here's my thoughts.
Let's play the 100 tournies as you proposed. Don't actually convert the $T at this time, just use the $T instead of the cash to sign up for each next one that you play. Hopefully the $T will just grow and most of the original BR will just sit there as cash.
For the 2nd part, what do you feel like your strength is? What time do you want to play? Fairly small sample size on OPR, but you've got some potential to do well here. Something like the early doubles would probably be good mix of reward / softness; but 45 or 90 mans could be something to consider as well looking at your ROI there.
Also, PM me your MSN or AOL name and I'll add you to the list so I can rail you a bit. If TS is around while you're playing and feels like coaching a bit during some low stakes MTTs that would be good for everyone involved. |

I slapped my forehead when I read the first part. Don't know why I didn't think about that in the first place. I can invest my personal shares as T dollars and should be able to keep all of the original $ intact. It works around the "can't transfer T Dollars" since they're just as useful to me as cash or T$. So we should be able to get away without the 5% loss which would be excellent.
Most of my MTT experience is between the $3.30 DS Turbo KO 90 man SNG, the DD Double Stack and the $1.10 DS 90 man SNG. I really like those turbo double stacks for $3-$5 as well even though I've only played a couple. I feel comfortable with the double stack regardless of whether it's turbo/regular as it gives me the ability to sit back and get a feel for the table while being able to play some hands in position post flop without getting crippled too fast. I tend to do most of my larger tourney play on the weekends/days off from work so I can make the time commitment without getting tired and making poor decisions but the 90 man SNG route is something I could do anytime. |

Your monies is good here . I was asking for suggestions because I didn't know how exactly to go about the 2nd part and wanted to do what the investors thought would be best. Most of the 2nd part will be dependent on how much the BR is after the sattys/SB.
Assuming I build up something like a $50-$75 bankroll after round 1, what would you suggest? Something like 3 or 4 $3-$5 MTT and if those don't go well, grind out a few more sats or drop down to $1-$2 MTT? Let me know what you think. |
