LHE 0.25/0.50
Table where 4 players will see the flop, including 2 loose players who will limp with almost any two cards.
AK suited on UTG. Like a good boy, I played it by the book and raised. Everybody folded to me.
This happens a lot. Should I limp with AKs hoping to get many players and maybe a raiser so I could reraise? And why or why not? |

I can see some spots where just calling with AK would be good.. but a table full of donks isn't it...
TPTK if you hit, is decent, but in a multiway limped pot where anyone could have anything, are you really going to feel so good about TPTK when you're getting played back at?
I'd rather raise pre, thin the field and have a chance to take it down with a C bet when I totally miss. |

I know you are right and that's why I hesitate doing it. AK of clubs and the flop comes all hearts. Bozo with his 9-3 of hearts has a flush. That summarize pretty much last night's session. As long as I don't have strong evidences that I should limp, I will raise. Better win a small pot than loose a big one. I was just asking for opinions. They are cheaper than learning the hard way.
TPTK????? What is this? |
