stud high for me because it happened too often that I didn't pay attention that we changed the game and I was raising my razz hands like hell |
lol same here. lost half my bankroll playing a hand that was 654a and my opponent had 4 clubs showing and i kept raising. |
If you lost half your bankroll on one hand, you should really do some reading regarding proper bankroll management. Plenty to be found on the subject in this forum. |
My bankroll was down to about 50$ and it was at a table where the average pot was 5$ and I had been doing good at HORSE the last few days. I like to play larger blinds, and it has worked for me thus far. I lose often, but I win more often so I haven't had much of a problem. |
its worked for me so far. as long as my BANKROLL wont be crippled by any bad beats, i feel safe. as long is its in my comfort zone, i am fine. and it has worked for 18 months now.
GL staying afloat, though it won't do you any good. |

But you already said you lost half your bankroll on one hand. Doesn't that qualify as crippling? |

| But you already said you lost half your bankroll on one hand. Doesn't that qualify as crippling?[/quote] Good point, but I made a very small deposit, only like 100$ and I lost 45$ on the hand. I only had that money in to have fun with, I think one of my buddies gave a full tilt gift card, so it wasn't a big deal. |

I like Razz. I think the players are worse at this game than just about any other.
My least favorite game is limit holdem. I just feel that playing this game in a limit format really cramps my style of play. I play a very TAG NLHE game, so switching to LHE where everyone calls you and your bets have no fold equity really chaps my ***!! |

Razz drives me absolutely nuts before I've made 8-high or less. Just one card can blow a whole series of deftly made wagers.
I'll agree with Vectorspace that more players are worse at Razz than any other game in HORSE. I see more silly decisions in Razz than in Stud/8 even...

which is exactly why razz is one of my favorite games in HORSE..as long as you have a decent understanding of it, you cant lose money in the long run against people who barely understand it...
omaha hi/lo... i get afraid of the constant capping |

| I agree with tjb about razz. Pretty much every HORSE game I play, I win the first Razz hand we see because someone is raising and capping with K-Q-J showing. My least favorite game is either stud because I either get out too early or too late, mostly the latter. Not to mention the fact that every 1st hand of stud hi, i get a 3 card 6 or something. Makes me wish stud h/l came before stud hi. |

I voted for Holdem. There is no place in this world for Limit Holdem imo |

| If limit Omaha is a part of HORSE then I vote for that. |

| Got to be razz for sure, I always lend up with good stud hands in razz lol. I do like the challenge razz presents but out of all the game types, thats the one I pick as worst. |

| For me its Holdem, cause people always do their silly aggressions with often nothing, showdown bottom pair wins and so son... however that makes it more easier and in the later rounds they lost their balls for the raisewars or they are just the more solid players left then. |

| For sure it is Omaha hi/lo you may as well play bingo, at least in stud hi/lo it is rare that the low is split. I know a lot of the pros play a lot of Omaha but to me it is a half step above using wild cards. |
