This may differ from what your best game is. But, when you are playing HORSE, what game do you feel like you have the biggest advantage over your opponent in?
For me, it's Omaha8 and Razz. In Omaha8, people are either chasing only the low or chasing the high. Also, a lot of people with a low starting hand (A247 for example) can't fold on a K-Q-8 rainbow flop. Also, some can't get away from a pair, AA, or 2 pair on a board that has straight and/or flush potential.
In razz, some people think a 9-low is good enough and can't fold, though someone may be showing 3 or 4 cards under a 7 and have been betting the entire time. Of course, there are always a few who have no idea what is going on in razz or think it is Stud.
That is my reasoning. Neither Omaha8 or Razz are my best games imo, as I think LHE is. But, so many people know hold'em, but not the others. |

Zophar would be up there if he didn't miss one or two weeks.
Also, please understand, I'm not asking for what you think your best game is. While that may also be the answer for this, I'm looking to see what games people think they have the biggest advantage in. This could be due to some bad play by others in a certain game, or a complete knowledge of a particular game. |

I see.
still o8 for me. as this is the only game I feel half way comfortable with starting hand selection and I feel some others are not,...well, or they have an interesting hand range,...
anyways,.....at the friday night series I don't feel I have an edge on anyone,....as really all other players know how to play and are tough opponents.....
for other horse games, especially the very cheap buy ins,...I find it very amusing, that everybody thinks they have an edge in LHE,....haha,....basically most of them can't play that either as they usually play NLHE,...but obviously it looks similar so they think they dominate here |

My best happens to be Stud 8, seeing as that I mostly play Stud 8 ring games nowadays. After that would be Razz followed by Stud...as for Holdem and O8... I think I'm just average at theses. Lol I love when we get to the Razz part of Horse, the RSE tends to help my chip stack out quite a bit!!!! |

| Razz for sure for me. I hate LHE and LO/8. However I can maintain chips during the O, and usually gain chips during the H. My biggest problem is I run into low chasers in E that hit perfect runners for boats to crush me. Usually if I can avoid that, it's a rough tourney for everyone else. |

Like you say skeeter in 1st post, i'm one of these ones that always feels there chasing the low or straights/flushes in stud and razz. The fact I'm chasing a lot in stud and razz would rules they game types out.
Since I have to choose one, I would go with hold'em mainly cause i been playing that longer than the other game types, only became aware off omaha, stud and razz when i signed up to FTP at beginning of january this year.
In all honesty, I would say its a mixed bag for me. I can lose load of chips in a round of omaha h/l, then have a solid round off stud h in the next round. Then find I lose a lot of chips in stud h/l but get them back in hold'em. Deffiant a very mixed bag from each time I play horse. |

| any one of the stud games usually withchever one poeople arent paying attention to the switch in. I find the biggest edge is always opponent dependent though. |

| I always tell myself when I get low in chips if I can just hold out with a decent stack until the Omaha round I can get back in it. |

| I'd have to go with Razz, I find it is where I pick up the most chips as generally people chase too much and tend to end up paying you off or folding on 7th street. As well I do pretty well with the hold'em as I play a lot of FL and most tend to play more NL and are less familiar with the differences. I wish there was a version without the Bingo hi/lo (Omaha) I just hate the game. |

none of the above
The game as a whole is my best game. I like to gamble more in non split games or hands where scoops are very likely.
More important to me are still the situation, reads, and other players style and ranges. This is better than any 1 particular hand or game
If the poll were, What game are you most nitty at? This would be very easy to answer. |
