I started off with Hold em like most newcomers to poker do in the states I believe, but have just fallen in love with 7 Card Stud. I can't get enough of it and it flows so good with my style. Not sure why I'm making this thread... I guess just to throw out some Stud love... in a non man loving way. |

| Yea Stud is a game that can easily grow on you, I love playin' live stud cash games. They're really rare but if you search enough you can find 1. |

my br grinding is strictly limit, except for the 2.00 or 4.00 max PLO @ tilt.
Stud is not my primary game for this. Same w/ LHE.
At least in stud, you won't hafta worry about bots.
Regulars and rocks in stud hi are far more devastating anywayz.
Traprock, the process of moving up in limits in stud-and to a slightly lesser extent, stud/8- takes a lot longer than, say, NLHE. Takes more study and experience, imho. But once you're there, you're less likely to drop down
[unless you're like me and have taken shots @ 10/20 stud, or 10/20 badugi.
Usually takes me 2-3 months 2 rebuild after this.] |

Coach, that doesn't make you old. I learned those 3 games first too, and I'm 22. |

holdem has evolved into its own entity tho.
the sickest varition of stud would be POT-LIMIT stud.
[and yes, oddsmaker.com spreads small-buyin mtt's in this format ] |
