| Nice approach zarken. I did the complete opposite though. I found a challenge I liked or that fit my style of play and did it ten times. Then moved on to the next until they were all done. I did the SNG challenges last because I don't like SNG's as much as ring games. But gl to you in completing them. |
Thanks for the good wishes V. Some of the challenges (especially those where specific hands must be received in specific table positions) can take some time to accomplish. Congrats on completing them all!

| I can also verify that this works for the pro play of the BRM challenge. Have a different challenge active. Sit down with at least 25% of your BR at a ring game. The smartest tables to do this at are either a NL or PL game that has a cap, or a fixed limit table that is within your bankroll. At either of these tables, you can sit with however much you want. Once you've posted a blind or ante, make the BRM challenge active. Then stand up from your game and you will get credit for that task. |
I did just what you descibed last night. This morning I checked and no credit for completing the pro portion of BRM challenge. |

| Guess the programmers fixed this loophole because it worked fine for me about a month ago. That's going to really suck if you have to do that the hard way. That is by far the hardest task of any challenge to complete. |

yeah i did it too, worked for my last 2 or 3 stints in that challenge, didn't hear about it right away though.
and it was brought to ftpAcademy's attention so it may have been corrected. did you guys try registering for a tournament at a much later date and try the same thing?(remembering T$ do not count).also remembering that another challenge needs to be activated before you unregister/stand up. |

| I think I have 19957 points as of last night. I started the academy challenges like 2 months ago. I was saving up for the bonus but if it's not a direct payment and is instead goes in the bonus account I hardly think it's worth it. |

16,443 credits - about three months. Hit a bit of a slump in getting into the situation for final pro plays.
Saving for the bonus.
Advice - follow the bankroll management advice |

| I'm at about 18k right now. And I have about 28k in FTP's. Only about 8k more and I can finally get the ipod touch I've been wanting. Never should've bought the damn DVD/VHS player last year. I could've gotten the biggest one by now. |

Just hit the 30k mark. And I'm at 28k in FTP's. Done all but the 2 30pt Gordon ones and the BRM (did all but the pro-play). Doubt I'll do any of those though, unless I happen to do all of them and just want the accomplishment of having done it.
The cash game ones are my favorites, but the SnG's are the ones I've been doing the most lately just to release as much of the Biggest Bonus as I could. I'm rolled for the $10+1's, but I played the $1+.25's turbos just cause I hate SnG's and would rather play crazy to get the wins and don't care if I lose. Also, with the SnG and MTT ones, I play ONLY for the challenge. I alter my play, do stupid stuff and just play all around crazy. Worked out well because the last 2 times I did Bartley's SnG challenge, I got it all done within the 5 you're required to play for the 4th task. With the cash game ones, I've been playing at my regular level with a few alterations in my style to get most of the tasks done, then drop down to the micro's to get the last 1 or 2. So far, I've almost managed to finish off a challenge each session. Occasionally, like with Harman's pro-play, I'll finish it off on another session. I 4 or 5 table, but trying to keep track can be a bit of a P.I.T.A. with that many tables. Hers has been the only 1 I wasn't able to knock out in a session easily. Really sucks when you end up playing for an extra hour just to finish one off. Open folding the suited A was a b*tch having to wait for the chance.
Now that I'm finally there and can snag the ipod I've been wanting, I don't know what I'm wanting to do with the points yet. My plan was to get enough for the ipod touch, but I'm not so sure anymore. I think I'll wait till a few more forum events that offer points occur and then see. I had about 85k in FTP's before, no reason I can't do it again.
I'm probably going to get 6 $26 tokens, or even wait till I've got enough for 10 and get them. |

Forum events offer -ACADEMY- points? I clearly need to be paying more attention. I rarely find forum events to begin with.
I've got 30K+ AP myself. If it's early in the month, I play cash game challenges to bump up my FTP for the day for Iron Man, and then when I hit my 200 I drop down and play a few of the tournament challenges. I have 4 challenges left, 2 of each, and I think each of those are hanging on threads. |

| No, just FTP points, but there aren't nearly as many as their used to be. The weekly MBJ's offered FTP's to the top 3 each week, then a bunch in the ToC. |

WOW No Tilt, you're a effing genius, I would have never thought of that for the BM challange! I play micro, and increasing my BR has been the hardest one to complete, holding me back from repeating it.
I'm gonna try that, ty.
UH OH< they closed the loophole???? |

| Ya, I finished my 10x of BRM awhile back. If you like tournies, my advice would be to play a bunch of satellites and unregister, basically playing DOWN your $ and increasing your T$. At that point, flip back on the BRM challenge so it "sees" that your bankroll is tiny. It won't notice that you have a ton of T$. From that point, play cash tournies, but this time pay in T$, not $. |
