| as stated in the title... I started with a $100 deposit. After 4 months I am just up to $683.15. How can they go from their initial depost of $50-$500 or whatever to $4 mil or so after a couple years? |

| Yeah, try not to take it personally, but they are just that ****' good, and comparing yourself to them is asking why are they paying Tiger Woods 3.3 Million to come play golf in Australia, when you'd have come to Melbourne for the price of the air fare. |

| Most of these guys are absolutely sick when it comes to ability tbh, and lots of them admittedly began with a go broke or go home attitude and threw bankroll management to the wind for a bit until they built their roll up. |

I'm guessing they also don't practice proper bankroll management in the early stages.
For ever durrrr there's thousands of players who go broke. |

| They put in a lot of time to learn and understand the game. They don't just play for leisure and fun. It's a job. Often more than a 40/hr a week job. Sure there is running hot, etc. But the truly talented players put their time in. |

60% skill 40% running good, if you watch most of these young players they run way over expectation, I am not trying to take away from there skill, however these guys suckout on people constantly (see Joe Cada, or any Cash game Durrr is ever in).
They are great players for sure but when you can play any two cards and constantly hit your going to do damn well for yourself. |

1st--you only get to see the more interesting hands they play on TV.
2nd--anyone, ANYONE who plays ATC will eventually find the reallity of variance.
Certainly there is luck involved. But I've played against some lucky people and they were nobodies in the poker world. Kinda like you and me. |
