the new PLO challenge:
>first let me begin by saying that Robert Williamson III has to be, hands down, the most charismatic down-to-earth red pros I've seen so far in these videos.
[altho I wouldn't mind smoking a doob w/ Alan Boston sometime ]
>I can also assume that this is why the full-ring .01/.02 PLO games have waiting lists. I dunno about u guyz, but sitting in 6-handed PLO for 40 minutes [zomg 90 minutes] is not conducive 2 one's mental health.
>not sure if this is the 1st PLO challenge the academy shoulda put out.
I personally have some background in starting hands
[Lyle Berman in SS2, and an old thin paperback by Bob Ciafonne,
and no guyz, raising in EP, or with AAxx preflop, ain't really a good idea]
but a lot of new guyz don't have ANY frame of reference. |

| well... also notice that NONE of the challenge tasks have ANYTHING to do specifically with bluffing. So, it's good to just have a challenge for PLO players. However, I think that is also a flaw... if bluffing is so important, they SHOULD have made the tasks force the players who are trying to learn (like I will be when I get around to this challenge) to bluff effectively to complete the challenge. This is a great challenge, in my opinion... but this should be an "Introduction to Pot-Limit Omaha" challenge, even though I recognize it's much harder than just an introduction. |

| The coding isn't able to pull specific hands from non-hold'em games. Sucks cause if they don't have it for PLO yet, then we're WAAYYYY off from having mixed game with hand specifics. |
