He was running about 20/7 at the time, the other guy was equally fishy fwiw, I donk bet because it's dry and there's a good chance it'll get checked around, and as fish they'll be floating me with random unpaired overcards (he has a 0 cbet and 0 fold to cbet, 23 sample size), turn is standard, river range I have him on is random AQo type hands, 8x, 99+, and maybe a flopped straight or 88/44, he's folding the overcard junk to any bet, and if I check he's betting the remainder of his range 100% of the time, so a check/raise gets his whole stack rather than just ~$11 if he has TT or whatever, sound good?

I really think you're overestimating how often he'll bet his TP/overpair type hands and you're also leaving out that when he's bet/folding he could very easily bet a lot smaller when checked to than what he'd call if you had bet again. I'd just bet like 12-13 on the river myself. Obviously if you do know he'll act as you described on the river, a c/r is often better, but since you're posting the hand in the first place I'm hoping that's just an assumption rather than a read on the specific villain.

I'm betting this river 100% of the time for the same reason Riddim stated. You can't be certain villain will bet the river, and a C/R looks even stronger. You have been aggressive in the hand so let them think you are bluffing.
