Hi, I've been playing here for about a month. I've been playing in as many freerolls as I posibly can, as I want to do something like Chris Ferguson and go from 0$ to as much as possible. I have also been playing in the final table dvd freerolls and yesterday I played in the "check-raising the devil" freeroll. I got 7th place in the check raising freeroll and it said I won the grand prize. As I understand it, the 1st place winner gets a copy of the book signed by Matisow, and 2nd through 9th get a copy, is this correct? Also, i have my address listed in the personal information section. Do they just send the book via mail to that address, and do you get any kind of confirmation email or anything? I did not recieve any info/e-mail, so I am assumeing they just send the book. Can anyone clear this up for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. - I'm glad I found these forums, they definetly clear up alot of unanswered questions. Thanks EvErYoNe here and at FTP!! |

Anyone have problems entering into the freerolls? Every time I try and enter it fills up before the register button pops up. Any suggestions?
Thanks |

I have the same problem Swash. I've tried to enter the unrestricted $100 freeroll's several times now and had no luck. Everytime I'm waiting with my finger on the trigger, the cursor hovering above where the button will appear as the seconds count down to the registration open. Without exception, the tournament has already been full (including the waiting list) before the button ever appears.
For such an incredibly popular tournament, first-come first-serve seems like a very biased approach. I seriously doubt people like us will ever get in before the people on uber-fast networks. Limiting the number of entries per week/month might help to spread things around.
I've been stuck playing just in the country specific freeroll's instead. |
