for raising to be +EV, hero must have greater than 25% equity in a 4 way pot.
against 3 opponents with an avg VP$IP of 35%, 5-5 has ~25.25% equity in the pot.
when the 3 opponents avg VP$IP is 30.2%, 5-5 has ~24.9% equity.
at 31.1% VP$IP, 5-5 has ~25%.
therefore we can conclude that raising from the BB in a 4 way limped pot is +EV when our opponents avg VP$IP > 31.1%. |

| That's our immediate odds, but does our implied odds change this in anyway? |

| i'm sure it does, but implied odds are less in limit than in no limit. that and you can't really calculate them accurately. i think the immediate odds are a good guideline. |

| We can reduce VP$IP>x a significant amount by taking implied odds into the equation fwiw. I'm too sick to do the math now, but I'd estimate it can be as low as >28%, which makes raising even more profitable at these stakes. |
