Yeah, this FP thing is fun to do, but the prizes are not big enough to make everyone super serious about it. Everyone likes Ivey because he's highly successful, super humble, genuinely friendly, extremely capricious with money, and just a likeable guy. I didn't pick Ivey, but would love to see him win. I wish Ivey would do a video for the Academy or even write a book. I'd be the 1st one to pick it up.
The complete opposite of Hellmuth, Tony G, Matusow, Scotty Nguyen, etc. I love Scotty, but he can be very arrogant and rude sometimes. Mike's a lot cleaner now though. |

I do admit to liking Tony G. I'ts just more front with him, I find him entertaining in the vein of the wrestlers and their slap talk. He certainly seems more humble and down to earth than the other's.
That's sweet. At least with Soulier earning me $277,136 (as a B), and only 36 left, i'm guaranteed 10.29 Mil. Now just hoping to jump 21 places and am there. |

27 down to 9 tomorrow... it's expected to go into the wee hours of the night.
I just listened to an interview on pokernews w/ Darvin Moon (current chip leader w/ 20M)... supposedly this guy does not play online. He said he has only been playing for 3 years which seems a bit hard to believe. He also said that he laid down pocket kings pre-flop in a hand earlier in the tournament
Why do I think he should not have admitted that?... like pouring blood into the Ivey-infested shark waters. |

Phil Ivey
Antonio Esfandiari
That is pretty much it........
I've got $250 in my account that people are going to be screaming for soon.
And the number one guy overall (redistributor) looks like he is going to get the top prize of that, as well as about 300,000 extra Full Tilt points added to his account..... |

Yeah, he's in great shape. The only way he doesn't win is if Esfandiari finishes in the Top 3 and Ivey falls short of the FT.
The 300k in points is for that deluxe home game package, huh? Very nice. |

Yeah, he has Katchalov as a B player to boot.
redistributor is a pretty nice guy as we made PM contact early and has made some amazing picks, pretty much being on top of this season for the duration despite only getting one or two hats.
The numbers for Esfandiari as an A pick are 624 entrants max.
The numbers for Ivey as an A pick are 10776 max.
This pretty much takes me from 279th in current position to somewhere in the 12000 area.
Of course, anything can happen should Ivey not make the final 9, BUT this is HIS GAME despite it not being his game (stud) and now we get to see as if he is the first since the Moneymaker era to be vaulted into correct legendary status.
It's been a great back to back WSOP year, folks. I've made a lot of great friends, some very famous, some not at all, and I am looking forward to how much ESPN helps PokerRoad with subsequent televised coverage.
This has been a tremendous, tremendous shot in the arm for PokerRoad and coupled with the tremendous shot in the arm that Full Tilt will get from the Saturday night prime time NBC coverage, I think there are loads of neat things ahead going into WSOP 2010.
Come to think of it, it is going to be very interesting to see how the NBC prime time coverage is going to pump up the ratings for the ESPN WSOP coverage, which have never been particularly remarkable.
No doubt that NBC will push Face The Ace as hard as it can with requests for poker playing appearances on their talk shows as the broadcasting season leads up to the actual final table. |

Dang, wanted back to back freeroll titles.
Despite earning nearly $300k in the ME, I dropped over 4500 spots simply because I didn't have Ivey in ME. I still think I would like to see a scoring change, so that you're rewarded just as much for picking all events as you are for getting lucky on one guy. Not sure how it would be done, but would be nice.
I'm looking forward to the freeroll for the ME seat. Would be nice to add that record to Feihua's list. |

Me too but what happened to it? I was registered for it last week and now I'm not. Did they temporarily delete it? I got 10th in a razz FR so I should have it. Is it still happening Sunday the 26th?
Thank you FTP for having this promo! I hope you can have this next year. Thanks to the fantasy league, I'm finally rolled to play .01/.02 PLO8, I can much more comfortably sit at .05/.10 limit tables and start taking stabs at $2 SNGs. I've made notes of the players who were winners and who weren't, of my mistakes and set my goals for next year. GG and congrats to all the FR and jersey winners! It's been a blast, PEACE!
EDIT: And now that the league is over I can finally say this: GOGOGOGOGO IVEY!!! TAKE. IT. DOWN!!!!!!! |

From latest chip counts I still have a few chances to move up a bit (from 3733 overall) in the standings but nowhere near what I had hoped in my first year of playing this game.
Here are my remaining players and their chip counts:
Phil Ivey: 325,000
The Master Nguyen: 105,000
John Juanda: 39,000
David Benyamine: 199,000
Jeffery Lisandro: 180,000
Joe Hachem: 130,000
Phil HellMouth: 135,000
Chris Jesus Ferguson ?
I would love to see all seven of my remaining players at least cash. However... my dream would be a final table including them all
Best of luck to all!

All that remains now is Phil Ivey for me. That is ok though. I did end up with 5 players ITM (including Mr Ivey) in my first year. The hat was a nice bonus as was my cashing in over 50% of the freerolls I qualified for. Will definitely pay more attention to event picks and the hot runners (like Lunkin) in next year's fantasy event. I enjoyed the added excitement of having a "horse in the race" so to speak for the WSOP events this year as well.
Best of luck to all at the tables!

| I think I dropped about 14000 places by not having Ivey. And I some decent cashers. |
