Well, I made the one freeroll I wanted to make out of all of them but it doesn't stop there! In the LHE SO I got 293rd and I hope it really is SO because I don't play those alot and wanna see how I do in it. Plus once a dead seat gets knocked out I don't have to worry about a live one filling its place. It's me and the one or two live ones and they're gonna be dead soon enough going up against me.
In event 51 The Master in A got me a little over 15K...good enough for a freeroll...AND A HAT! **bows to The Master**
I feel better now that I've gotten a fair amount of freerolls and a hat (t-shirt). All I'd like to have now is that ME freeroll and maybe another hat. |

Afaik, Andrew Feldman hasn't played a tourney yet. I was looking at the poker section at espn.com one day and saw he's writing articles/updates for the series. Why play poker and maybe get paid, while you can work for the best sports network in USA and get a steady paycheck? |
This is the not the same Andrew Feldman.....who posts quite often at PokerRoad.
And this particular Feldman did show up in quite a few tournaments this year.
Whereas I am not sure if that Feldman reported on quite a few tournaments this year.
Congrats out to Norman Chad btw. |

oh alright, Too many Feldmans out there and not to mention Phils
Norm cashed in the S8, very nice! He can't play the, "I'm so clueless at poker" role so much anymore imo. What events did u get your jerseys in Fei? I want some insight from one of the fantasy pros. |

I gots me a hat from the limit holdem shootout! Can't claim it yet though
I'm not doing too bad in the 6 max either. Helppi mincashed as a B. I got B Deeb, A Shorr, and A Bonomo still playing. Let's hope I get something for this one too! |

Jerseys came in Events 33 and 41...
33 Limit WC
Mueller, Hawrilenko and Lederer because FBT has always been strong in limit, because hoss schooled Hellmuth in Limit and because Howard says Limit is his best game and it was a relatively small field.
41 NHLE Shootout
Ivey because he was going for something serious, Pham because he is either at the top or out of it, Channing because he is strong and a darkhorse, Baker for the same reasons, and because Nordberg was due and the shootouts are the closest thing to online. |

1/3 on my freeroll goals: The $5k HORSE freeroll. I'm pumped for this one, and hope to make a deep run and get a nice cash.
Also, into the top 800 overall, though I expect that to fall before the ME.
I have no idea who I'm taking in that right now. |

I had tiny cashes in events 54, 55 and 56 and so it is possible that I have picked up another freeroll to tie the board record of 23 from last year. If not, then my pick of Sam Grizzle (A) in the Main Event should be more than enough to get me freeroll 23.
BTW while I appreciated the humor of feihua's Jerry Yang pick, I think that Chris Moneymaker could be a force this year. He played very well in the 40K and then skipped the middle few weeks of the WSOP in order to save his energy for the Main Event. He has slowly transformed himself into a very solid, if not spectacular, NLHE tournament player. Of course that does not make him an excellent fantasy selection since he probably still attracts more support from the unwashed masses than his game deserves, but then again, if he runs deep, he runs deep. |

I don't think I can make 23 this year. I should get one for #56, as I have Hawrilenko as a B. I don't think I have any others in the other events, so 22 is my max.
I put together my ME team. I did find a way to have a non-consensus on my A team (not sure how he isn't consensus, considering how well he has been playing recently). I have a combination of big names, young guns, and NLHE specialists. Should be fun to follow (and maddening when none of my guys make the money). |

Spike: 1 hat, 4 freerolls.
just got my 4th freeroll in event #50, LHE shootout.
Overall, w/ 2 million fantasy earnings, better than I did last year. |

Thanks to all for the individual stat postings. Congrats to all who have won hats or better as well as to those who qualled for the freerolls. This is my first year playing FTP Fantasy Poker and it has been both fun and challenging in keeping up with who is running hot and who is not. Looking forward to next year and perhaps a Jersey!
Best of luck to all

I got Nordberg as a B in the #56, but not Hawrelinko. Didn't think he'd play this one or I probably would've.
Still, since Hellmuth busted early, I should be good for a freeroll as long as Hawrelinko doesn't finish too far ahead of Nordberg. |
