durrrr got nearly all his money back in less than 1000 hands.
why always talk about him as it is only luck where he is?? |
He has huge swings due to reckless play. Watch some of the hands from the last session where he won big. For instance, he forces himself to get it all in on the turn w a flush draw against PAs top set and str8 draw. Not a very good play at all, but it sure won him back a great deal of $s.
He has been down 4000k earlier this year and is now up 1500k. HS players like him have come and gone throughout the years. He's been given a magical aura b/c of all the media hype (Kaplan HSP etc.), but imo: PAs game is made to last. Durrrr might go busto the way he is playing.
That being said: of course he is no "donk". |

i think he s just good and fun to watch |
haha what the hell are you talking about. Durrr consistently plays with around 500k in play at HSP. Saying that this is 0.01% of his bankroll is just a dumb statement. Tom Dwan is certainly not worth $5,000,000,000 |

What the hell are you talking about? He said that if you only have a $1000 BR, it isn't even .01% of Tom's BR. Since Tom's BR > $10 Mil.
Math $1000/.01% = $10 Mil.
You should read the actual post before you write idiotic comments. |

| So am I the only person that thinks Dwan is avoiding playing anymore in hopes Patrik will just go away? |

...you're wrong. Not only is Dwan currently winning, but the main reason they haven't played is also that Patrik would rather play live cash at the moment. |

I have to wonder why this challenge has stalled. I can give many theories, but the one thing that keeps repeating in my head is why there hasn't been more of an outcry to get this finished. I realize part of the break was the WSOP, but that's been over for close to two weeks now. |

| Isn't Benyamine and Ivey supposed to be next? I wonder if either one of them are interested or if stipulations are going to be specified so it doesn't drag out this long. |

"Stalled?" I hardly think that is the case.
The reason no one cares is simple. These guys are playing for more money than most people will make in a lifetime. It's irregular, it's online (*yawn*) and people are more worried about making next months house payment than they are about a couple of 'rich kids' in a pissing contest.
I have heard several prominent pros say they always take a month off after the WSOP to wind down. Some don't, I am sure. |

Please explain why it should not be considered stalled when it has been over two months since they last played one hand in this challenge?
I also fail to understand how you can say no one cares when there is a thread about it asking why it hasn't finished.
The reason this is irritating to me is because not Dwan has another million dollar challenge issued. To me, this is very disrespectful to Patrik (as well as Benyamine and Ivey). I realize that his new challenge is less of a threat skill wise, but finish your commitments first
Oh, and even if they did take a month off, they'd still have been able to play the last month.
**Edit** It seems as though they played for a couple hours today. |

After Ivey I'm pretty sure Schwartz is next, not sure about Benyamine. Not sure about Ivey or Schwartz but I don't know why Benyamine is taking this challange, as good a player as he is hes cannon fodder against Durrrr. |
