Or, the "Ohio State will take the whole enchilada finally!" thread.
Watching the Big Ten network air Penn St/Wisconsin got me missing the only one of three things in the world better than poker: The college football season.
Anyone else looking foward to it?
And anyone got some predictions?
Favorite game?

There was a case for either a no call or a holding penalty...besides, it was sweet watching ken dorsey sink to his knees, heartbroken while all that scarlet and gray flooded the field...still have the SI cover from that night.
Mizzou didn't lose Chase, did they? |

Sharpe was buttraping Gamble while he was running the route. At the very least, it was a holding penalty, but both end up the same way.

Ouch. I'm not sure who all is back but without Daniel and Maclin, Mizzou's offense will definitely take a hit. Thankfully for yall, you're in the Big 12 North, so it should be easy to get back to a bowl game. |

EFF YEAH DUDE! This year is where we see the improved maturity, intelligence and skills of Pryor. Things are gonna be a lot better than last year I KNOW IT!

Did you even watch the video you linked? He didn't touch him until the ball hit his hands. Watch starting at 1:40 for your supposed buttraping. At the very most it's incidental contact which is allowed. He barely touches him. Watch starting at 1:48 to see how he is not touching him at all until the ball gets there and how he dropped the pass anyway. It was great coverage and it was obviously a terrible call and you only argue that because you're an Ohio State fan which I can't blame you for.
Edit: oh BTW thank you for linking that video. It so clearly proves how terrible a call it was. I'm surprised you would link that when trying to argue the other side. |

Yeah! I'm curious to see how much better he has gotten over the summer, because he improved soooo much over the last few weeks of the season (and we'll give him a mulligan for the Texas game)
No Rob, if you clearly watch the replay, you can see that Sharpe is all over gamble from the line on scrimmage, into the endzone, and right as the ball is getting released. That's a holding penalty, and that close to the endzone is ruled the same as pass interference. |
