I flop bottom set and pick up the nut FD on turn:
Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 5 players -
The Official Hand History
BB: $40.75
UTG: $154.05
CO: $99.45
BTN: $61.45
Hero (SB): $86.80
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is SB with 4 9 A 4
2 folds, BTN calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.25, BB checks
Flop: ($1.50) 7 T 4 (3 players)
Hero bets $1.50, BB calls $1.50, BTN calls $1.50
Turn: ($6.00) 8 (3 players)
Hero bets $6, BB calls $6, BTN raises to $30, Hero ??
Button is prety solid and likely hit the str8, but other guy is table fish and could well call with just an overpair, certainly if it also has a FD. |

With bottom set and nut flush draw out of position, you obviously want to see the river. I'd have check / called the turn myself here instead of betting it out.
The bottom set is dangerous in case he has two pair to go with his likely straight, since not all of the 7's, 8's and T's are necessarily outs for you. So you've got 9 outs to the nuts with 8 to the nut flush, one 4 for quads. There are 9 more cards that give you a full house which may or not be good here.
I definitely agree with betting out on the flop, and if the diamond was a Q or K, then I'd definitely agree with betting the turn. But that 6, 8, 9, J hit a lot of draws that would have flat called you on the flop. Even the 2, 3, 5 aren't totally safe. I don't like giving your opponent the chance to get a large raise in on the turn, so I would have check called here. |

| Yeah I wanted to build the pot against he fish so I didn't stop to cosider what I'd do if the other guy hit, but what do I do as played? The 689J is the good hand that I should be happy to get it in against assuming the fish also comes along for the ride, but 689T or 89TJ are the ones I have to be more concerned about. |

Given your reads, I'd probably kick myself in the ***, call and see the river. Reason I say this is that you can be reasonably sure that at least the BB won't reraise given your read. Hopefully he calls and tags along. So you're putting in 24 more to see a pot that has 72 in it (considering the call), and will have 96 in it on the river. You've got 9 outs to the nuts vs. 2 players, and 9 other cards that might win you the pot, leaving 26 total misses... that's worth taking a 3-1 shot here.
You still have some money behind you as well if you hit your flush or the miracle 4, go ahead and bet it out if you hit the river. A ten or 7 is more scary than the 8, but if you hit the underfull here I'm not sure you can fold it for ~28$ more. I'd probably value bet any of these hands, c/f anything else on the river |

| Don't think i'm gettign any more feedback on this so... I did as you said, and bb called as well with nothing but a fd, and I hit a boat on river for the pot as btn had nut str8 but no redraw. |
