last few days ive played 150 $11 stt,s finished top3 65 times......should be 100 plus.not sure how to post hand historys,but so many ak va3 3 outers.
aa has lost 10 times...after the 6th time i almost resorted to folding pre flop...knowing id be burnt.
qq flop q23 lost to 109...player called 560pre with blinds 50/100...then runner runner j8.
really seems if im 80 to 95 percent ahead im sucked out on.
long list of examples......96 to be exact but here is a random selection of 7.
akst va6os
jj v 44
99 v102
aa vaj
kk v 66
qq v77
aa v a3
ive used the site off and on for 4 years.
5 figures in profits...however it just seems bad play is definately rewarded, way way way more than it should be.
any regular players agree?? |

Regular player here. No
That's one of the dumbest statements I hear players make.
You have good MTT stats. Did you achieve that by playing badly? |

OP, you're smoking crack if you really think a 66% ITM is reasonable. Your 65/150 is 43% which according to this table is pretty much spot on. Also note that 150 games could still be "running good" and not be long-term sustainable.
http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/forum/sng-tactics-faq-t15929.html
What is a good ROI/ITM?
- The issue with determining what is a "good" ROI/ITM is that it is very dependent upon your sample size. To get a sense for your "true" ROI at any given level you need to have played many thousands of SNGs, and particularly at the lower levels, any winning player will have moved up long before they have an adequate sample size.
That said, below are a couple of tables that set out a couple of views as to what "good" stats might be:
| Code: |
Buyin ITM% ROI%
$3.40 40-50% 25%+
$5.50 40-50% 25%+
$6.50 38-45% 20-25%
$11 40-45% 20-25%
$16 38-44% 12-20%
$20 38-45% 12-20%
$27 38-43% 10-15%
$33 37-42% 10-15%
$50 36-42% 8-13%
$60 36-42% 8-13%
$100+ 36-42% 5-10% |
2+2 FAQ wrote (for ROI)
$3.40s - 18%
$6s - 16%
$16s - 14%
$27s - 12%
$60s - 10%
$114s - 8%
$225s - 6%
$335s+ - 4% |

r.o.i
was a paltry $207.10
roughly $1.34 per game.
obviously the best hand can,t always win.
but it does seem 3 outers win more than 10 percent of the time.
way way way more more like 30 - 40 percent..which is wrong.
hence my question does this site reward bad play...too much??
thinking of 8 tabling to offset the extra variance |

seem is the key word. See the "rigged" thread for countless times where "seems like" and "feels like" and "appears to" show up in people's claims, but when pressed for hard evidence, those claims go up in smoke.
Record your hands. Look at Pokertracker or HEM manager to record everything and verify if you are in fact seeing too many long shots. I promise over enough hands, the odds work out.
Also, multi-tabling will help you ride out the swings provided you can play your "A" game while multi-tabling and not go tilt-happy if you do get donked on one table. |

Yeah I'm interested to know why you think you should be ITM more than 100 times? Serious question ... where did that figure come from? |

| The amount I have lost from just unbelievable calls and low out river suck outs it a joke.Notice on all the final tables as well and notice how the hands are BS up to get people to push.It will give AA KK on both blinds, will give High pockets to like 3 players so they push all those kinds of hands,Its unbelievable.I get beat and lose coin with massive hands constantly.I cant win online with good hands. And im not saying good cards!!.GOOD HANDS.I can fold and fold and fold and wait then play.I will hit a high straght and will lose to a runner runner flush..Its a joke.I even get beat in Stud by someone who donkes a 7th street flush with the SAME SUITas me.I mean whats those odds?.Its a joke. Its near everytime and these arnt normal beats. It not a pair of aces loses to Two pair Its straight flushes on fullhouses things like that.EVERY TIME.Ive nearly givin up and had my time online.Im getting over it very quickly now.My patience is running out. |
