Hello all, I've finally decided to try and apply the knowledge i've learned from various poker books and started a bankroll on Full Tilt. Mainly I've been watching the full tilt academy videos and trying to apply the rules and theories presented. The one problem i find myself running into is finding myself fluctuating around my buy-in amount. For instance, I buy into the .01/.02 games with $2.00 and even after multiple hours of play i will just hover around my original $2.00 buy-in, maybe +/-$.50 at any given time. Sp now I've tried to adopt a strategy of grinding up a decent percentage of my buy-in before exiting a game, and it has been working so far. Of my original $20: I worked it up to $24, before falling back down to ~$17 (I know not it is not a lot, but i try to play .01/.02 games with the mindset of a $1/$2 game, so i don't do anything outrageous with such micro limits).
I understand the ideas of variance and i should expect to go up and down, but my problem lies in staying stuck around that original buy-in with no real positive or negative gains. So do you guys have any tips for a new player who is trying to actually start progressing the bankroll to play in higher limits? |

| You should try playing short stack strategy with so small bankroll. You can try grinding sats to daily dollar. |

| Try using the same strategy in a multi-table tournament. Good Luck |

| Use straight short stack strategy imo. You just have to wait for good hands at that limit, making any kind of move is usually out of the question |
