Hello. I'm currently doing the BRM challenge, I assume it will take me a couple weeks to gain 5% of my BR. Can I switch to another challenge, and when necessary switch back to the BRM challenge, or will I lose all previous progress on the BRM challenge when I made the switch?
Thanks. |

| Yes. Only one challenge active at a time. |

Cant answer this w/o a little uncertainty.
1st I think you mean 25% right?
I have been switching back and forth depending on the type game or amount of time I had to play.
Increased my BR by 25% while in the BR management challange but was in 1 Tourney so cant really say I was close but this tourney was 25%+.
I have emailed support on this w/o a reply.
Would also like to know about a withdrawal.
Does this count against you.
IE if you have $1000 withdraw $500 does it readjust your starting amount to $500 like when you redeposit??? |

I think you have to have the bankroll challenge active the WHOLE TIME you increase your bankroll by 25%. If you work on another task, it doesn't count.
One easy way to complete this task is to drain a part of your bankroll by playing satellites, and "convert" it into T$. Then use those T$ to buy into any tourney you want, and it will feed you real money back if you win. So, if you start with $50, play satellites until you have $20 and perhaps T35. Then use some of those T35 to win $4, and you're done.
ANother thing you can do is play a MTT while in another task. If you're going to score BIG, switch midstream to this task before you get knocked out. If you have a bankroll of $100, but you made it really deep in a cheap tourney and you're going to win $25 or more, switch over.
It seems to be that tasks, like FTP, are awarded based on when a SnG or MTT is FINISHED, not when it's started. Same deal with the Iron Man...if you start a tourney at 1/1 at 11:55 PM and get knocked out in one minute, you earn FTP when you get knocked out, so it's counted towards your count on 1/1. If you get knocked out at 12:40 AM, it counts towards 1/2. |

Even though I have done exactly what it has stated in my challenges, none of it has been recognized. Or tabulated on the task's accomplished. Anyone else have this problem? Help????? |

I have finished all but 1 of the challenges and only have 1 thing left to accomplish (the pro play portion) in the current one. In regards to results not being tabulated I had some issues (or so I thought) with the same thing. It was only after checking my hand history that I realized that I was not the first player to act or some other requirement that was part of the task (that I had thought I accomplished) when I realized the results were accurately reported in every instance. I plan on re-doing each of the challenges in the same order as my play definately improved as I progressed through them. Everyone goes on losing streaks and being in my 7th week of playing online I just hit my longest. It has been a frustrating experience but one that has also been a good lesson in playing poker. As Jennifer Harmon (sp) says in one of the sit and learns... when you find that you can no longer bluff with A-K it is time to take a few days off. One more day this month to earn 1 daily point and I will qualify for my first 1 a day Ironman Freeroll. I have no idea what to expect but have found the challenges and the academy to be very helpful and a valuable tool to a beginning player like me.
Sorry for the ramble... best of luck to all and may the cards fall your way and the donks fall by the wayside!

Both new challenges completed within 1 day of them being posted, Woo Hoo! 100 points! These are not really challenges but merely tasks to accomplish. No "challenge" involved in either one.

| Kudos to FTPA support for quick response. Switch to a different challenge from Chis Ferguson BR challenge and back again as noted in FTPA response, did not affect results. |
