Online Poker Forum - Academy Enrolles {ONLY} Poker Rooms

I have been playing Texas Holdem on line for Play Money for a few years. I recently decided I wanted to play for real money. I saw the need to join Full Tilt Academy {NO EXPLANATION NEEDED RIGHT). Any way I have been listening to some of the material and find it every educational.

I enjoy the thrill of the game and want to become profitable at it. I find that there are some very wild players out there and as I try to do the task for the challenge I have signed up for, I find it hard to do when there are 4 to five players at the table taking turns making outrageous bets to steal the blinds and then steal the pots. I do understand this is a strategy of sorts. However, I get frustrated when my gut tells me to call {but the things I have learned would tell me not to call a raise over a certain % of the BB with the pockets I have so I fold and then the FLOP gives me the upper hand Trips and even Full Houses.

This happens to me quiet often. And then when I do call the rediculous bets anyway I end up losing.

I said all this to suggest there be Poker Rooms where ONLY FULL TILT ACADEMY ENROLLEES ENROLLED IN CHALLENGES may play in while developing and sharpening their skills.

Just a suggestion.

I am new to FT, having played elsewhere for over a year. But I can tell you that what you are experiencing is quite normal, even on other sites.

I'm "guessing" that kind of play happens less the higher the stakes, but I have only played as high as $2000 freerolls and at that point they still play like that.

As far as real money games, I have played as "high" as $10, but only once or twice and I don't remember if it was like that.
