Here is the hand...And I know I am in a $3 SNG and this may be dumb but...Please look at the question after the HH...
Full Tilt Poker Game #15603913123: $3 + $0.30 KO Sit & Go (114403229), Table 5 - 120/240 Ante 25 - No Limit Hold'em - 20:48:20 ET - 2009/10/26
Seat 1: pkaroly (12,510)
Seat 2: OldOkie (4,580)
Seat 3: The Kid B (6,685)
Seat 6: Lumsdero (5,815)
Seat 7: gr8beast (8,755)
Seat 8: bigjim841 (18,789)
Seat 9: azshu (4,918)
pkaroly antes 25
OldOkie antes 25
The Kid B antes 25
Lumsdero antes 25
gr8beast antes 25
bigjim841 antes 25
azshu antes 25
OldOkie posts the small blind of 120
The Kid B posts the big blind of 240
The button is in seat #1
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to The Kid B [Jd 9h]
Lumsdero folds
gr8beast folds
bigjim841 folds
azshu folds
pkaroly folds
MadeInUs sits down
MadeInUs adds 3,495
The Popie sits down
The Popie adds 2,710
MadeInUs is feeling confused
OldOkie raises to 700
The Kid B raises to 2,000
OldOkie raises to 4,555, and is all in
The Kid B calls 2,555
OldOkie shows [Ad 9s]
The Kid B shows [Jd 9h]
So I was dominated...but if I think I am at worst a 30% dog (I know I was way worse than that), is it correct to call 2,555 more chips into a 6730 pot?
That means I have a little under 3-1 to call?
Someone teach me a lesson here...Geese, just by writing this I see what I have done.
Help? |

| i would fold to the first raise already unless villian tried to steal a ton before. he showed up with what must be the very bottom of his 4bet range. |

You know in the HH it was shown that this hand was a blind vs. blind battle. I'm not sure if that would change your mind, but if this was the average $3 90 player SNG donk (and I say that because most of them are donks) then I wouldn't mind playing J9 off against an idiot with position. Of course I'd probably flat his raise though, no need to go crazy with J9. |

| fold to the raise. very meh hand. if i am playing i'm jamming over the villain's raise to put him to a decision, but for that he would have had to been quite loose pre. effective stacks aren't big so you don't have a great deal of implied odds either. |

3-bet folding here is worse then 3-bet calling, So I would 3bet jam myself then, or atleast rasie to like 2600 to make it clear your not folding. I'm not sure If I like the 3 bet at all though. I'd just flat and play in position.
As played though, since you only made it 2000 im folding to that 4 bet.
A 3 bet in a spot like this always should have a plan. If you planned on 3 bet calling, then you should have just jammed yourself. If you didn't plan on 3 bet calling, then you must have misclicked |
