A hand that happened an hour or so ago. Knowing that I was ahead after the turn and my attempt to get paid off, trap me in the end with my bet after the flop? Should I have shoved after the turn since it was obvious he was chasing something? Is QT in his range of hands here or possibly AA trying to hope I hit that K and will hang myself?

I did end up "snap calling" like you all said and I fist pumped like TinkyTyler said, into my desk!
River: ($1.59) J (2 Players)
UTG bets $1.03 and is All-In, Hero calls $1.03
Results: $3.65 Pot ($0.24 Rake)
Hero mucked K K (three of a kind, Kings) and LOST (-$1.81 NET)
UTG showed Q T (a straight, King high) and WON $3.41 (+$1.60 NET) |

That's horrible play by Villain. An UTG raise with QT ...
Calling off $0.64 of his stack on 4 outs... Idiot play. Unlucky crtsports |

Sorry, forgot about the clubs.
But I wouldn't be calling $0.46 on 12 outs OTR |

Care to elaborate?
I would have bet like $.28 OTF, or just made it $.20-$.24 preflop. |

Yes, you had to call his big raise OTR with trip Ks.
In retrospect, your raise OTF was too small. He had a possible flush draw then and it would have been better to make him pay dearly to see another card. A pot-sized bet (.37) should have been sufficient to either chase him away. If he called you would still be the favorite looking at a nice pot. The turn card presented another possible flush draw which I would not want to discount out of hand. An Ac or As suited with any other card (probably a high card) would have explained his betting up to this point, and offered him as many as 9 outs either way.
You're bet OTT was not sufficient to chase him in hindsight, but it was a correct sized-bet. He was very foolish to call, although he did get lucky OTR. He did not have the right odds to call. As it turned out, he called a 2/3 pot raise when he only had four outs.
To tell you the truth I would not have put him on the gut-shot straight draw that he actually had (and eventually made). But his UTG raise had it's obvious merits. He represented a lot more strength than he actually had, so his fairly weak holding was well diguised. I would almost certainly fold here, except maybe on a very tight board where I'm looking to mix up my play a little. I have noticed that players in low-stakes games will bet with almost anything, though. |

Ok.
I wouldn't raise with QTs UTG on a full ring. I guess it's one of those borderline hands where it depends on individual preference though... and then call a raise on flop from early position with a gutshot draw and backdoor flush draw. UTG got lucky.

I agree with this line of thought. |

| I don't really think preference has much to do with it, raising QTs UTG at FR is almost always bad. |
