| Would it be a waste of time for me to write out an essay type post in strat? Honestly, i mean is there any chance i could possibly win this, if not i will just give up now |

I said I would judge everyone fairly based on the prestated criteria
The main 2 I feel youare lacking are
1. Getting along with others- though I feel you are trying to work on this a little bit, and some people are just adding a bit of fuel to the fire to keep things interesting around here
My suggestion: Let the threads like the drama threads die, don't post in them or read them. Also quit arguing with people- if they flame you read it laugh and move on
2. Contributions to the forum- I have seen a bit of improvementhere as well- some of your HH comments seem spot on, maybe you should venture into strat sections a bit and see how you do
my suggestion: Stop posting useless chit in every thread- this is not about quantity of posts but quality will help
Yes the essay would be beneficial to you, because even if you are not picked the first time around; if I continue to see improvement and no one rolls obv- you may be picked in a leter round. |

put it into beginners or general imo. this term has been explained often enough in mtt to be worth another post there, however there might be some newer members who don't know what it is. |

nice of you tracy!

if you nominate rhys or nolan ima have to shoot you. |
thanks for the support BP really appreciate it yea. Put effort into improving my game, post in beginers section and general discussion helping beginners 'build pots with monsters' or giving advice on 'which training site to join'.
hardly ever spam, at least not the last month or so, contribute with forumers baps, continuosly increase my roll to now over 600 after winning 2$ in a freeroll 4 months ago and yet i get compared to the person you all love to hate,( no offence rhys this is more of a complaint at BP than a dig at you)
BP maybe you should contribute more in strat sections and begginers sections rather than live off your repuatation as a good forumer because since i ve been here to be absolutely honest i havent really seen any informative poker related posts- dont take this the wrong way, maybe your a frequent MTT strat poster i dont know, but its just my justified opinion in response to your unjustified opinion. |
sry, overlooked that earlier.
yeah, you are right nolan. i never post pokerrelated stuff.
and yeah you are not as bad rhys and you have been less annoying lately. or maybe that is only because i read less.
my comment was not directed to you, it was directed to tracy though.
the reason for rhys is obv and for it is just that I think there are other newbies, who are cooler kids who don't get upset as soon as someone disagrees with them and who can take feedback better, who don't take themselves so seriously and who understand sarcasm better.
all these things are forum qualities too.
but anyways, as tracy said, he is listening to suggestions and stuff but he makes the decision. this is his baby.

No offense intended here whatsoever BPD, you know I would make mad passionate love to you for weeks on end.
BUT...
I really think this kind of thinking is what has led our forum down the wrong path. It is like we fully EXPECT people to search every question and research every post before posting something. New forumers are not going to do this much work. They are simply going to post there questions or advice, and I think we as a community are just going to have to learn to live with that.
"M" belongs in the MTT section afaik, not sure if it is really used so much in sbgs since you are tring to cash first, and win afterwards. I could be wrong though, as I don't grind sngs alot. It's not like that section is overly cluttered I think a total of 3 hands were posted in the last 24 hours.
I think our attitudes toward newcomers is completely backwards- we should be welcoming and helpful- while still getting our point across. This is what will make new regulars out of the n00bs and although it may be frustrating at times, we need the extra traffic and opinions- even if they are wrong or don't agree with us. |
