Bet or c/c 7th? I have no reads on villain. He was just moved to this table. He uses the Schwarzenegger rugby avatar if that helps.

| I think I c/c here to let him bluff his busted draws. Like if the 6 paired him in the hole and he whiffed on 7th, for example. Betting and getting raised would be awful because we'd have ridiculously good odds to call when we don't beat anything. Even though we have a 7low it isn't a great 7low so there isn't a ton of value in just betting, imo. |

It looks like he bet 5th street because he improved and you kind of bricked, and it seems fairly likely that he may have paired his 6 because of him flatting 6th. Going into 7th, I think you have him beat, but I'd be happy with either checking it down, or check/calling. This also seems like a good spot to be able to check so that if he's folding to your bet, you wouldn't be able to see his down cards for future reference.
Basically, if he missed, you give him a chance to bluff, and if he hit, you don't have to reluctantly call his raise. |

| I disagree with the other posts. I say bet 7th. Even a rough 7 is usually a winner in razz. He has at best a 76xxx by 6th st. Without knowing his style, or yours, just bet your good hands. I don't think you should check, expecting a bluff because, unlike NLHE, many players simply wont bet a weak or dead hand on 7th. Now, suppose you have him beat and he is playing a 8, 9, or T... There is a good chance he wouldn't bet a hand like that but WOULD call for pot odds. Weigh that against you having to call a reraise, which he could also do with a hand you could beat. Your odds are even better to call the re-raise than his would be to call the initial bet, since there is more money in the pot. Ill take my chances calling with a made 7 on 7th st any day. |
