Disclaimer: I'm probably pretty bad at cash. With that covered, here's three hands I snagged and would like some input on
Villain seems fairly standard, only notable hand I had with him before was when I opened A5 in SB, he 3bet and I 4bet jammed. He called and flipped A3. My plan was to string him along and jam if checked to or call any river when he bet the turn. Is this a bad plan?

This is standard, yes? Rather draw heavy board. Villain seems quite fishy.

Seemed to me like a great board for villain to raise me off of since it hits such a small portion of my range. I meant to cap the flop obv, just misclicked. Is my effective cap spew?

#1 is kinda close, but you're getting almost 3-1 and seems spazzy, so I'd call.
#2 and #3 are wp |

| I think in hand 1 AQ is a pretty big part of his range,, but without more meaningful reads i'd call here for that price. I agree that 2 and 3 are well played/standard. His sizing on hand 2 probably isnt a draw though, i'd imagine he'd just check shove a flush draw or OESD, it does'nt look as though he really wants you to fold but again, with out more reads on him just get it in with TPTK untill he gives you reason to slow down with these TPTK hands. |

hand 1 i think i would raise flop or turn, but can't decide which. i call river as played but i'm not super happy about it.
hand 2 i'm betting bigger on flop and def shoving over his minraise... if he has us beat well good for him
hand 3 seems standard unless villain is a super tight-passive nit |

Hand 1 I might raise the flop depending on my opponent. I'm raising a lot with draws, too, so against observant opponents I want to show up with TPGK+ as well. You can also raise the turn, but again this is opponent dependent. If you aren't getting called by worse (it depends what he will DB/call with on that board), then I'm happy to keep calling down. Lots of opponents won't stop firing OTR on a board like this, especially if an A comes out, so I'm never folding river once I take your line. This hand really would benefit from postflop reads on your opponent, but without them I think your line is ok.
Hands 2 and 3 I don't like your $12 cbets. You need to think about future streets when you size your bets. Hand 2 you are leaving a $43 (- rake) pot OTT with $40 behind, and in hand 3 you are leaving (assuming one caller) a $44 (- rake) pot with $42 behind. Having to shove a PSB in either of these hands is not ideal. Particularly in hand 3 I want to get as much money in OTF as I can while my opponent is still willing to call with overcards and draws. Otherwise, I think they are fairly standard/wp. |
